Youth come visit at Wright Baptist Student Ministries!

    Student Ministry meets twice a week: Sundays and Wednesdays, plus many special events and gatherings. More info is below. Students know that you are a part of God's plan and you matter. You are able in our time to experience the strength, encouragement, and light of Jesus. In turn, you can encourage others in your life. Gathering times for Student Ministry include:

   Sundays @ 9 am:

     Students meet on Sundays @ 9:00 am in our own space, in building B. Any greeter can direct you. This is gotten to through the main entry at Wright, which is in the backside of the campus where the main parking is. This is the same entry for worship. Any greeter can guide you smoothly there. The Youth Sunday meeting area is also located close to our main Sunday worship center and the Cafe (coffee, tea, snacks). The Cafe opens at 10am, it is where we have a churchwide fellowship time just shortly before main services each week. So Youth are centrally located to all the action.

    What should I expect? Friendships, Solid Teaching from the Bible, and a Time for Prayer Needs. How does everybody dress? Come as you are. Most of us are casual. The lessons and discussion are led by Youth Pastor Jordan Johnson, and occasionally by key Youth volunteer team members.

  Wednesdays @ 6 pm (1st, 3rd, 4th week of month):

    Student Ministry meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm at Wright Baptist Church. In the summer, Student Ministry kicks off in the Activities Building (along Beal Parkway, looks like a gym building in middle of campus).

    The rest of the year, the Youth Ministry Wednesdays starts out in worship in the Worship Center at 6 pm, and then breaks out for the Activities Building (looks like a gym building in middle of campus).

    The Student Ministry on Wednesdays is fellowship with new friends, a Bible lesson by Youth Pastor Jordan, and fun activities, even food.

    Youth there is a place for you on Wednesdays, so do come check it out soon. We would love to have you visit with us as our guest!

Previously Jordan served in Florida and then in Alabama making an impact for Jesus there with Youth. Now he's back in Florida with us at Wright Baptist to serve Jesus along with you.

    Also August to May on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Wright, there is a Churchwide Fellowship, where we do a large group pot luck, or some fun game night, or a serve night. What the 2nd Wednesday event is, is listed in the Sunday handouts, as well as on the Sunday Livestream, for more info later if you'd like to visit, you're welcome to do so too then.

   Summer 2022 Student Events:

    These are events we would love you to join us at, Students!

 Summer Events from June to July 2022..

June 15th: Nerf War Night from 6-7:15PM. This event is for both children’s ministry and student ministry. Dinner provided

June 16th: Student Beach Day: Leaving at 11AM, the students and I will head to the beach for a day of fun and fellowship. Lunch provided, will return to church at 3PM.

July 13th: Movie Night at the Blizzards from 6-8:30PM, snacks provided. 

July 20th: Jeopardy Night at WBC from 6-7:15PM. $25 VISA gift card for 1st place. Bible facts, and other trivia, be ready.

August 3rd: Beach Worship, we will have or Wednesday night worship service at the beach. Leaving church at 5:45 and returning at 7:30PM. 

  Other Student Events (we have a bunch of other events to connect with):

    Beyond those, we have special Youth Events: Nerf nights, Game fun nights, some Christian concerts, Student Conference trips, and camps during the year. There is a place for you here, and this is a solid Bible-based church to connect with locally.
